From Ravinia’s opening in 1904, the visually and acoustically stunning Martin Theatre has stood at the center of the park for classical, folk, and jazz chamber music concerts as well as comedy and theater. Designed in the American Arts and Crafts idiom by architect Peter Weber, its windows are filled with these Tiffany-style stained glass panels. The full theater was given an award-winning restoration in the early 1990s. The window design is also featured in many other buildings around the park, as well as the festival’s logo.
